WFP in El Salvador is supporting "One Billion Rising" Campaign. The objetive is raising awareness on the rights of women and non violence.
This campaign is supported by Eve Ensler (author of “The Vagina Monologues”) and was recently launched in India in the wake of serious violations against women, which have inspired multiple protests around the world.
The World Food Programme (WFP), as part of the UN in El Salvador, has joined with this campaign in the fight against violence against women.
