World Food Programme Fighting Hunger Worldwide

Since 2009, WFP and UNRWA have been jointly implementing the assistance programme to provide much-needed food rations to 30,000 herders and Bedouins. 

Bedouin children often attend the distributions to help their parents and to play with their friends.

The activity is implemented in partnership with the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).

The food rations include vitamin A-enriched vegetable oil, fortified wheat flour, chick peas, iodized salt and sugar.
