This project is financially supported by the European Union and benefits 6,000 small holder farmers in Honduras.

With P4P, WFP uses its purchasing power in new ways that will develop agricultural markets and support smallholder farmers' engagement in those markets. In Central America, the project is being implemented in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua. Juvenilo, a 60-year-old farmer in Honduras, said he is very grateful for the support he has received because in the past it was hard for him and other farmers to produce more.
