World Food Programme Fighting Hunger Worldwide

The Programme to Assist Vulnerable Groups supports improved nutrition and health among children, pregnant and lactating women, mothers, people living with HIV/AIDS and other vulnerable groups. WFP Honduras enhances the Government's capacity to establish and manage food assistance and hunger-reduction programs.

WFP´s work also focues on improving the health and nutritional status of children under five through regular health monitoring and supplementary food rations.
