Keeping Hunger At Bay In Drought-Scorched Kenya
WFP is stepping up targeted feeding programmes in Dadaab, Kenya to stave off malnutrition among new arrivals from the famine zone in Somalia, particularly women and small children. Meanwhile, in other parts of Kenya, schools have remained open and school meals programmes active to make sure children hit by the drought get at least one nutritious meal a day.
