Nicaragua: WFP Boats Tackle Hazardous River Journey
A WFP team visits isolated communities along the Coco and Bocay Rivers in Nicaragua to assess whether local women and children are suffering from malnutrition. These indigenous communities can only be reached by boat, a journey which is complicated during the dry season when it becomes difficult to transport food supplies due to decreased river flow.
