Pakistan Flood Victims A Year Later: School Feeding In Rajanpur
The floods in Pakistan destroyed crops, lives and infastructures such as the school attended by Zorhan and her classmates. Local NGOs and the government quickly rebuilt the school and WFP supported those efforts by reinstituting its school feeding program to sustain the growth and development of children. By receiving a proper meal at school, the children are better able to stay healthy, learn and focus on their education. Zorhan's uncle says the kids are showing "increased passion" to go to school and life is slowly getting back to normal.
