World Food Programme Fighting Hunger Worldwide

Pakistani pop stars Zeb and Haniya visit Kheskhi Bala village in Nowshera district where WFP is engaged in early recovery activities such as rebuilding roads, houses and other community infrastructure.

Zeb and Haniya talked with locals in the village of Kheshki Bala about how the floods impacted their lives.

After visiting Kheskhi Bala village, Zeb and Haniya were taken to a general food distribution in the Nowshera district. 

Zeb and Haniya both hail from Khyber Pakhutunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan. They were warmly received as they spoke to locals in their native Pashto.

With WFP Country Director Wolfgang Herbinger, Zeb and Haniya toured the entire aid assistance process from registration to screening to distribution.

After their visit to the field, Zeb and Haniya held a press conference together with WFP Country Director Wolfgang Herbinger for local media outlets.
