World Food Programme Fighting Hunger Worldwide

During the field mission, WFP and EU representatives visited the Tan Cosse Nutritional Centre, where WFP nutrition activities are implemented.

At the Tan Cosse basic shool, daily WFP school meals are provided to around 320 students. During the field mission, WFP Programme Officer Fatimata Sow-Sidibe explained the nutritional contents of school meals. 

WFP and EU representatives visit a rice field in the Bafata Region. In collaboration with the bilateral project Bas-Fonds with Japan, WFP provides food assistance to women's associations to improve their food security status.
