WFP Country Director for Burkina Faso Angelline Rudakubana recently visited the camp where she received a warm welcome by the many children who have come there with their parents.

WFP Country Director for Burkina Faso Angelline Rudakubana also met with members of the community, many of whom walked for many miles across the border to reach the camp.

These children are among the 25,000 refugees from Mali in Burkina Faso that WFP plans to feed in the coming months. Since violence broke out across the country, some 200,000 people in Mali have fled their homes to neighboring countries.
