New Roads In South Sudan Transform Lives
By working with local authorities in South Sudan to build and repair roads, WFP is helping create the transport infrastructure that the fertile new nation needs make the most of its potential for food production. WFP has committed to building 500km of roads that will of course make it easier to transport food assistance. But they will also help farmers bring their products to market.
