CVA SITUATION ANALYSIS

The Situation Analysis is a useful first step for the CVA. It serves as an initial review and analysis of the relevant country's vulnerability issues, and provides an operational context for food security -- local policies, institutions, literature. It guides other CVA analyses.

The Situation Analysis helps quickly focus other CVA analyses on the most important food security and vulnerability issues in the relevant country.

It also describes the institutional and policy setting in which WFP will be working.
