Since 2003, The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) –a global management consulting firm and the world’s leading advisor on business strategy – has supported WFP’s work to feed the hungry, especially children. BCG leverages its expertise to help WFP increase the effectiveness of its strategy, operations, organization and knowledge management.
Joint initiatives include developing a cooperative and collaborative approach for nutrition interventions; quantifying the impact of WFP’s school meals and other safety net programmes; enhancing WFP’s funding model; and improving the organization’s scale-up of emergency food reserves.
BCG has lent support to the REACH nutrition initiative, an interagency partnership to tackle childhood hunger and undernutrition.
