Mariangela Bizzarri is an international consultant with over 12 years of experience in development, humanitarian, academic and private sector work. She has expertise in gender, gender-based violence, and protection, bringing together practical field experience with research and analytical skills from a wide range of organizations and research institutions. Her experience includes five years as programme officer for the World Food Programme. Mariangela has worked on protection from gender-based violence in the framework of food assistance since 2004.
