WFP support 42,000 community based schoolteachers, mainly women who service training under teacher training programmes in remote areas, by providing them with a monthly ration of edible oil. In addition, WFP will assist the functional literacy campaign by distributing family rations to 67,000 adult literacy students each year (70 percent of them women) in food insecure areas.
Food for Training improve productive capital in communities by enabling people with special needs, school dropouts, widows and others to acquire marketable skills and to supply consumer products and services. Seventy percent of participants will be women and girls. Under vocational training WFP will assist 60,000 people each year.
