Honduras farmer Don Juvenilo Navarro is celebrating the fact that he is now able to sell his crops for a fair price. Through a WFP initiative called P4P, sponsored here by the European Commission, he learned how to use fertilizers and herbicides better and also how to connect better to markets. "Before, the 'coyotes' would buy our sacks for a low price without weighing them," Navarro says, referring to the middlemen who used to buy crops at a fraction of the market price.
