Sawsan is a 37-year-old and pregnant with her sixth baby.  Sawsan told WFP that she will buy milk, eggs and cheese with her first voucher. Through the voucher system, refugees can buy a variety of food items including fresh produce and dairy products that are not normally included in dry food rations. WFP will gradually increase the value of the voucher, while reducing the food commodities provided in the food ration until the camp is assisted entirely through food vouchers, giving refugees a chance to familiarize themselves with this new form of assistance.
