Explore 2013 WFP's
Food Procurement Map

As you can see from the dark red areas on the interactive map on the right, WFP buys food in many of the poorest countries in the world. In fact, 79 percent of the food we buy comes from Low Income Countries or Middle Income Countries (coloured orange on the map).  This is because WFP's policy is to buy food as close as possible to where it is needed. Explore the different sections of the map to discover more.
