As part of the GeatReal Campaign, the School Food Trust has teamed with WFP to launch The Really Good School Dinner Initiative. Other than being a Really Good School Dinner it is a Really Good Way of Raising Awareness and Charity!
It’s a great chance for you and your school to help children in some of the world’s poorest countries.
In September 2009, four pairs of students enrolled in Dutch universities started a six month internship in Africa. This life changing experience will provide them with a unique opportunity to experience the realities of humanitarian aid first hand, thanks to the TNT Global Experience Programme (TNT GEP).
The programme, launched in 2005, is a collaboration between the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), TNT - one of our leading private sector partners and AIESEC - the international student association.

In the first part of the 'On the Road: Kenya' series Marcus Prior takes us to a drought-stricken Kenya where a hunger crises is deepening.
There are 4 million people in the need of food assistance. Not only are the humans suffering, the wildlife - an important part of Kenyan tourism industry, is suffering as well. The land is turning to dust, drought has left farmers with empty fields and dying cattle. WFP food assistance is more vital now than ever. Join Marcus as he takes us for a ride through the heart of Kenya.
