August 5th, 6th and 7th sees the 6th annual Youth Assembly of the Friends Ambassadors Foundation at United Nations Headquarters in New York. 

Around 700 students and young professionals from around the globe gather together to discuss the progress towards achieving the Millennium Development Goals, and more importantly, what they can do in their own countries to ensure that momentum is not lost, and progress continues to be made.

Community action, awareness-raising, and above all, communication are the main themes. Take a look at the Assembly site, their YouTube channel, and follow their lead.
