New classroom activity: The Hunger Obstacle Course

Published on 21 May 2009
School feeding was an important part of the aid programmes that WFP worked on with China.

A new activity for teachers! We are releasing today the Hunger Obstacle course. Suitable for elementary and middle schools students, it focuses on collaborative learning and problem solving. The premise is simple: your students navigate through the obstacles of hunger and the problems it poses by racing to list the best solutions. This activity engages participants in creative problem solving though a time-limited process of generating feasible solutions to different hunger-related problems.

Give it a try and let us know what you think!
