HI – My name is Graham Bell. I have been an educator for the last 13 years, teaching at both primary and secondary levels in the UK and in international schools.
In this two-part series Jim Farrell shows us what is like to be poor in Port-au-Prince, a city where everything seems dirty, including the food and water.
A ray of hope in the garbage
This week we are 'On the road' with Jim Farrell. Join Jim as he shows us life in Haiti, a desperately poor country devastated by hurricanes, poverty, civil strife and death. Jim takes us to the dirty streets of Haiti where people live in worst kind of poverty and malnutrition. Jim then introduces us to a family of 12, on of many receiving supplementary high-nutrition food - a gift from WFP.
We're fighting hunger - come with us!
