For the month of November, Canadian schools battled it out for the Canadian Freerice School Challenge organized by the World Food Programme and our Canadian Ambassador against hunger and CBC Television presenter, George Stroumboulopoulos.

For her final project, our March online intern, Mariana Petrova, invited her own online community to join her in telling the story of a world free from hunger.
“As part of my online internship with WFP, I wanted people to visualize their dreams and express their vision through art. My challenge: ‘Imagine a world without hunger. What does it look like?’ Enthusiasts from all over the globe took part by sharing photos.
The end result is this beautiful video which provides hope and illustrates our aspirations to live in the better world we see in our dreams and imagination.”
