Generosity knows no borders. Studying the link between hunger and immigration in an English class and shocked at the widespread hunger in most developing countries, a group of students in the Parisian suburb of Clichy-sous-Bois decided to help WFP feed the world’s hungry.
They created and sold wall calendars, raising enough funds to feed over 2 600 school children around the world!
This month the spotlight is on Ghana.
This small West African country has seen great economic growth over the past decade and with WFP's help the lives of thousands of Ghanaians are being improved.
Congratulations to this week’s Freerice Class of the Week...
This year instead of just watching the Super Bowl on Sunday, bring the football spirit into your class for an entire week! The World Food Programme is teaming up with Drew Brees to have our first ever Ricebowl Challenge.
