If you kept up with what was going on in New York last week around the UN General Assembly, you probably heard about the UN Climate Summit on Tuesday, September 23. This event, hosted by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, united the UN, global leaders and the public and private sectors to discuss actions to fight climate change and improve resilience. WFP was a part of this event because climate plays a critical role in hunger and nutrition.
