Life After Ebola: Children Are Back To School, So Are WFP School Meals

In Liberia, schools were closed for up to eight months because of the Ebola epidemic. Children, who were forced to stay at home, missed not only their classes but also WFP-provided school meals that many depend on. One of the schools in the Bomi County, the Beh Town Public School reopened in March and WFP resumed its school meals programme already in April. So far, more than 100,000 children in schools across Liberia have received daily, nutritious meals.
