Sudan Airdrop

WFP has delivered about 100 metric tonnes of food to villagers from Oriny in Upper Nile State of southern Sudan. It is the third week of airdrops in different southern Sudan states. Food is expected to be delivered to some 45,000 people who have been cut off by rain, and whose crop has also failed due to recent flooding.
