Vanuatu: WFP Joins Bid To Tackle Cyclone Pam Aftermath

Tropical Cyclone Pam hit the south Pacific archipelago on 13 March, killing 16 people, leaving thousands homeless and in need of food assistance. Two weeks after the deadly storm, food has reached more than 160,000 people on all 22 cyclone-affected islands. WFP is supporting the government-led relief effort by organizing distributions, logistics services, and providing extra food to supplement government food packages where necessary.
