WFP Faces Challenges Helping Displaced In Iraq

WFP has established a number of field kitchens with its local partners in Dahuk Governorate since the latest wave of displacement. However, the area remains a grave concern. “We have multiple displacements, we have a large number of people – more than 200,000, who are not in camps or in areas where we can easily access or identify them,” Jane Pearce, WFP’s Country Director for Iraq, explains.
