WFP Warns that Ignoring C.A.R. Risks Renewed Chaos that Will Spill Across Borders (For the Media)

Central African Republic has some of the world’s highest chronic malnutrition rates, with 40 percent of children ages 6-59 months suffering from stunting, as well as some of the highest rates of maternal and early childhood mortality. WFP and other humanitarian groups warn that ignoring CAR, means risking the country spiraling back into chaos that will spill across its borders.
