The Monthly Price Monitoring Bulletin is by the Technical Working Group on Price Monitoring for Food Security (TWG-PMFS) chaired by the Ministry of Economy and participated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Melioration, the National Bank, the National Statistics Committee and the National Institute for Strategic Study, with the technical support of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
The bulletin aims at providing timely information and analysis on domestic prices of basic food and non-food items, complemented by the analysis of international markets. It also provides early warning on high food prices.
