DSWD, WFP distribute cash to 'Yolanda' survivors

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and World Food Programme (WFP) on Tuesday distributed cash assistance to over 2,000 "Yolanda" survivors in Tanauan, Leyte. DSWD Secretary Dinky Soliman and WFP country director Praveen Agrawal led the distribution of emergency cash grants to those who were affected by the massive typhoon, which struck central Philippines last November 8.
