Shock-responsive social protection in Latin America and the Caribbean

Shock-responsive social protection in Latin America and the Caribbean

What factors enable social protection systems to be more responsive to shocks?

This is the main research question of the Study on Shock-responsive Social Protection in Latin America and the Caribbean, a flagship initiative by WFP and Oxford Policy Management (OPM) in collaboration with many partners and governments in the region. The theoretical framework, five country case studies, and the conclusions are now available for download.
