    A Village In Mauritania Finds Its Way Through The Drought

    Drought across the Sahel region of Africa has taken a devastating toll on families in Mauritania where dead livestock and dried-out lakes offer grim testimony to a season of failed rains. But one village has found its way out of the hunger crisis affecting the region through programmes that provide children with nutrition, keep kids in school and put their mothers in charge of an ambitious market garden.
