2018 - Asia and the Pacific Regional Overview of Food Security and Nutrition

Four UN agencies (FAO,UNICEF,WHO, WFP) have teamed up regionally to analyse the impact of global hunger data for the battle against undernutrition in the Asia and Pacific region. The 2018 report shows that progress is stalling in the region that is home to the highest number of undernourished in the world. And data on children is especially worrying, with high rates of stunting alongside a rapid increase in childhood obesity. The report takes a closer look at Urban Malnutrition and the implications of megacities and growing urbanisation for efforts to reach Zero Hunger.
