This assessment, based on a joint FAO/WFP mission, provides an overview of the 2018 production shortfall and the food security situation in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK). Provision of accurate, timely and credible information is critical to inform appropriate interventions by the government and the international community.
