The decentralized evaluation was commissioned by the WFP Indonesia Country Office and covers the Local Food-Based School Meals Program (2012 – 2015) in Nusa Tenggara Timur and Papua Provinces in Indonesia.
The evaluations assessed the LFBSM program processes, nutrition-related outcomes, and health impacts on beneficiaries in both Nusa Tenggara Timur and Papua provinces. The secondary objective was to translate these findings into policy and program-related recommendations.
The evaluation, which makes a number of recommendations for the future, was managed by the Indonesia Country Office and conducted by independent consultants, with fieldwork taking place in November-December 2014.
