Sri Lanka Emergency Flood & Drought Response

Severe floods and landslides due to monsoon rains have affected up to 1.1 million people in Sri Lanka.
WFP is preparing to assist 75,000 of the most vulnerable people in the hardest-hit flood areas for a two month period, subject to funding. This is in addition to 25,000 people who need assistance in drought affected areas. Drought conditions in the north are ongoing despite heavy rains in the south
