Syria: Food Distribution To Families Sheltering In Part-Built Houses

Al-Ghazlanya, east of Damascus, is currently home to a large community of families displaced by the conflict. Most of these families live in unfinished buildings, where they lack electricity, running water and other basics. Working with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and the local community, WFP is providing food assistance to over 8400 Syrian families. Khaled Al Nashar, an assistant field monitor explains.
