As the number of Syrian refugees seeking safety in neighbouring countries increases, WFP provides food vouchers for 1.7 million Syrians in Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq and Egypt. Under this programme, destitute families use WFP vouchers to buy food in local shops. Text transcript of this video
