Fleeing Syrians Find Food, Refuge In Iraq

WFP is distributing food parcels to Syrian refugees, who have begun fleeing by the thousands into neighboring Iraq as conflict grinds on at home. Some 40,000 people crossed the border in a single week in August marking the single biggest outpouring of refugees since the conflict began. WFP is sending enough food to the region to feed 185,000 people for a month.
