The World Food Programme (WFP) discontinued its International Food Aid Information System (INTERFAIS) and the collection of global food aid flow data. WFP continues to share performance data on its programmes with the open database of the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) and in its corporate annual country and performance reports.
To better reflect the global shift from food aid to food assistance WFP, in consultation with its partners, decommissioned the International Food Aid Information System (INTERFAIS). INTERFAIS’ historic data sets and Food Aid Reports remain available through this website for reference and research purposes. As the information for the Food Aid Information System (FAIS) was provided on a voluntary basis, WFP cannot guarantee that the information in the data sets is exhaustive, completely up to date, or that it covers global food aid flows in their entirety.
WFP is committed to full transparency and the highest standards of accountability.

How WFP publishes assistance and performance information
International Aid Transparency Initiative
The International Aid Transparency Initiative IATI is a voluntary, multi-stakeholder initiative that seeks to improve the transparency of aid, development, and humanitarian resources in order to increase their effectiveness in tackling poverty. The IATI data browser provides a search function and information by country or by publisher on development activities and budgets submitted to IATI. Click here for WFP information on the IATI portal.
WFP's annual country reports are available through the country pages.
Food security analysis
WFP's food security analysis reports are available through the Vulnerability Assessment Mapping (VAM) page.
