Ending world hunger is one of the greatest challenges of our times.

Although the world produces enough food to feed everyone on this planet, many vulnerable communties still cannot access basic meals. The goal of a world with zero hunger, as set out in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and specifically in Sustainable Development Goal 2, remains hugely challenging due to a toxic cocktail of conflict, climate change, disasters and structural poverty and inequality. Across the globe, up to 783 million people do not have enough food. 47 million people in 54 countries are at 'emergency' or worse levels of hunger. This is unacceptable. Hunger is preventable.

The UN World Food Programme is present in over 120 countries around the world, and can access areas most other organizations can’t.  We are the world’s largest humanitarian organization saving lives in emergencies and using food assistance to build a pathway to peace, stability and prosperity, for people recovering from conflict, disasters and the impact of climate change. That means your gift will help provide lifesaving food aid to the people who need it most.

You can help us be there for children and families wherever the hunger needs are greatest. No matter what.
