Supporting exports of Ukrainian food

WFP is committed to supporting the export of grain and other foods from Ukraine - a vital source of food for much of the world.

Ukraine’s agricultural exports are a vital source of food for countries in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Before the war, its food exports fed 400 million people each
year. Due to the competitive pricing of its food products, as well as its strategic location for WFP operations, Ukraine has long been one of WFP’s largest suppliers of wheat, vegetable oil and peas.
