UN System Online Auctions
The UN System Online Auctions app, administered and managed by the World Food Programme (WFP), enables WFP and other UN agencies to responsibly manage assets that are no longer needed for operations. This helps extend the useful life of equipment, reduce waste, and generate funds that are fully reinvested into UN operations.
The app is available in English, French, Russian, Ukrainian, and Spanish, with Arabic, Italian and other languages to follow.

Frequently asked questions
What type of items can I find in the auctions?
Auctioned items can include vehicles, IT equipment, phones and office furniture, as well as other objects received as gifts. These could be sold when they are no longer needed, when the cost of maintenance outweighs their value for operations, or when they cannot be used due to policy, technical or operational constraints.
How do I find an auction near me?
Auctions are organized in locations around the world. Through the app, you can easily see where auctions are taking place and what items are being offered, and participate directly in auctions available in your area.
How do auctions support UN operations?
Auctions help UN agencies manage their assets responsibly. Profits generated are 100 percent reinvested in UN operations – including WFP’s life-saving emergency work and support to communities hit by conflict, disasters or weather extremes.
