This report reviews Grenada’s Beryl Relief Income Support Programme, a shock responsive social protection cash programme launched after Hurricane Beryl. From January to June 2025 it delivered about 3.5 million XCD in monthly payments to around 850 affected households. Monitoring found high satisfaction, improved coping and market access, and lessons to strengthen the SEED system, digital tools and disaster risk financing.

This report benefits from a rich body of evidence, tools, processes and experience. It draws from a vast line of activities by the Government of Grenada, with technical support from the World Food Programme (WFP) for a series of consultations linking to Shock-Responsive Social Protection, conducted by WFP with the Government of Grenada and various stakeholders from the public sector, humanitarian sector, private sector, and the people of Grenada.
