The WFP Innovation Accelerator’s 2025 Year in Review highlights the progress we have made together in advancing innovation across WFP and the wider humanitarian ecosystem.
A few key results from 2025:
Innovations supported by the WFP Innovation Accelerator reached 132.5 million people in 75 countries, doubling our reach compared to 2024. We provided funding and implementation support to 85 innovations.
Since 2015, WFP-supported innovations have catalysed USD 383.3 million in additional resources.
In 2025 alone, innovations generated USD 23 million in savings for WFP and USD 301.8 million for the broader humanitarian and development ecosystem.
These achievements underscore the growing role of innovation in strengthening emergency response, improving operational efficiency, and reducing long‑term humanitarian needs across our operations.
