The phase II of the THRIVE project is implemented in Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda from January 2025 to December 2027. Implementation is country-wide in Rwanda and limited to certain regions in Kenya (mainly Turkana) and Uganda (Karamoja Region).
The project builds on existing school meal programmes towards generating food systems change, centering on three impact pathways:
1) transition local smallholder producers to climate-smart production;
2) improving the quality of school meals, and
3) promotion of clean cooking technologies and practices in schools.
The purpose of the Terms of Reference is to provide key information to stakeholders about the evaluation, guide the evaluation team, and specify expectations during the various evaluation phases.
