Food Assistance for Training interventions(FFT): Global Proposal 2026-2030

Author: Climate and Resilience Service (PRGR)

WFPs Food Assistance for Training proposal for 2026 to 2030 promotes livelihood options beyond agriculture to strengthen food security and resilience for women youth and displaced people. It combines food support with market driven skills and links to jobs or small business through government and private sector partners. Targets include reaching six million people in forty countries and upskilling two million.

The programme focuses on lifting individuals out of poverty by equipping them with market-driven skills and facilitating their access to economic opportunities, through self- or wage-employment. Its core ambition is to help participants achieve economic self-reliance and, in turn, resilience and food security. This document outlines a vision for the 2026–2030 period, including funding needs, expected results and how we aim to get there.
