The Global Seasonal Outlook provides a monthly overview of emerging climate conditions and seasonal risks across regions of operational relevance to WFP. Drawing on rainfall observations, seasonal forecasts and climate drivers such as El Niño and La Niña, the outlook highlights areas where weather patterns may affect agricultural production, livelihoods and food security.
